Practice Areas
Mr. Souki is an associate in the Land Use, Administrative and Environmental Law section. Mr. Souki’s practice focuses on providing advice and assistance to clients in land use development, including environmental review, permitting, zoning, and administrative proceedings and litigation related to these areas. He advised both private and public agency clients on Hawaii projects that include industrial, commercial, residential, and resort developments. Mr. Souki received his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Hawaii. He received his J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law in 2004, where he was a member of the law journal and moot court board. Among other honors, he was selected for membership in the Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing oral advocacy and brief writing skills. Before joining the firm Mr. Souki served as a judicial clerk, and then as a Deputy Corporation Counsel for Maui County where he advised the planning department. Mr. Souki is licensed to practice in the State of Hawaii. He is a member of Hawaii State Bar Association’s, Natural Resources Section, and the American Bar Association’s, State and Local Government Law Section.
