Jay D. Fullman received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University with Summa Cum Laude honors in 1977. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Law Center at the University of Southern California in 1980. He was engaged in private practice with small to mid-sized law firms between 1980 and 1992, and as a solo practitioner since 1992. He formed Jay D. Fullman A Professional Corporation in 1997.
Mr. Fullman is licensed to practice before all California trial and appellate courts and in the following federal courts:
• U.S. District Court for the Central District of California;
• U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California;
• U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit;
• U.S. Tax Court; and
• U.S. Court of Claims.
Mr. Fullman handles a broad range of business and corporate law matters for companies and individuals, including business entity formation and dissolution (corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships), business transactions (negotiating and drafting contracts, leases, and other agreements), estate planning, asset protection, and business succession planning (wills, trusts, shareholder agreements, FLP’s, LLC’s, probate, and trust administration), and business litigation (transportation claims, real estate, lease and contractual disputes). His clients include intrastate and interstate trucking companies, manufacturing and sales entities, retail service companies, insurance and real estate brokers, factoring companies, and other businesses and individuals.
Mr. Fullman is a member of the California State Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Christian Legal Society. Mr. Fullman serves as an arbitrator for the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Fullman also serves on the Board of Directors of Orange County Christian School and with the Yorba Linda Church of Christ.
