BOARD CERTIFIED FAMILY LAW by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Graduated from the Texas Tech School of Law in 2009 having made the dean’s list. Mr. Doonan passed the state bar examination immediately after graduation. In 2014, after only practicing for five years (the minimum time required), he joined the 1% of lawyers who are board certified in Family Law on his first attempt. (Approximately 40% of attorneys who take the board certification exam pass upon their first attempt.) Mr. Doonan has been awarded many honors and was recently invited to join the State Bar College. Mr. Doonan was awarded the “Top 40 under 40” by the National Advocates and was also awarded the “Top 10 Attorney Award” by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. Mr. Doonan has also been given appreciation awards and was invited to speak at the 2015 Family Law Essentials Legal Education Seminar. Mr. Doonan loves practicing family law and enjoys helping his clients through their cases.
