Alexander J. Davie practices corporate and securities law in Nashville, Tennessee. Business throughout the country retain Alex as their General Counsel for their everyday legal needs. His first goal is to provide clients with excellent service and straight-forward, decisive legal recommendations for the difficult choices businesses face. Alex frequently works with technology companies, Exempt Reporting Advisors, startups, emerging companies, and private investment funds, which include private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds.

Private Equity Funds

Prior to founding the firm, Alex served as general counsel to a fund manager. Alex uses his expertise to draft formation documents for private funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate investment partnerships. He advises investment advisers on regulations including initial and ongoing SEC and state compliance.


Starting a Hedge Fund is a complicated a process and requires the work of experienced attorneys. We work with our clients and their companies to create the best solutions in each stage of growth. We draft the initial incorporation documents and to venture capital and financing transactions.

Mergers and Acquisitions
