Cindy English spent almost twenty years as a Senior Power Trader for Nevada Power Company. After moving to Georgia and graduating from Georgia State’s School of Law, Ms. English began practicing in North Georgia in 2011. Her practice is primarily focused on Family Law including divorce, custody, visitation issues and family violence. Ms. English also uses her experience with Nevada Power in the area of business litigation including drafting and reviewing contracts, facilitating business start-ups and dissolutions, corporate agreements and general civil litigation. Ms. English is registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution as a mediator in the areas of civil litigation, domestic relations and domestic violence. Ms. English’s business background and experience is an asset to helping settle emotionally-charged cases in a reasonable manner.
An effective Family Law attorney needs to listen to the clients and understand what is most important to them, understand the financial repercussions of a divorce or modification action, know the law, and be willing to do what is in the best interest of the client -- whether it be a settlement or courtroom battle.
