My parents were a factory worker and a school teacher. They both worked hard, saved and made the best of the opportunities America presented while raising me and my two younger sisters. I have a Masters Degree in history and an M.B.A., as well as my law degree. I followed my mother's example and briefly taught school. I left that draft-exempt job to join the Marine Corps. I served two tours of duty in Viet Nam, retired as a Captain and attended Emory Law School, graduating in 1973.
I wanted to stay in the South because my friends from the Marine Corps were predominantly from the South and were some of the finest people I had ever met. I started practicing law in Charleston in 1974 and struck out on my own in 1977.
I am married to Jeannette and have two sons. My older son, GT, graduated from Yale, worked in Manhattan for 10 years and is now working in our law firm while attending law school. My younger son, Alex, graduated from Drexel and is working as a computer game designer in San Francisco, California.
As my law practice grew, I decided to limit my practice to helping injured people and we have rapidly expanded and now serve the entire state of South Carolina. We take very good care of our clients and you can call us 24 hours a day.
People come first with us. My South Carolina personal injury law firm is truly client-oriented and we take a great deal of pride in caring for and helping injured people. We take pride in providing the very best service to you, your friends and family members if any injured person ever needs our help. We have helped over 35,000 injured people and are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving injured people.
