Karen Yochim

Karen’s undergraduate degree, attained in 1997 from Furman University, was in Economics, with a concentration in psychology. Shortly after, she received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law in 2003. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003, and then accepted a position as an associate attorney with a locally recognized law firm, where she continued to practice for the next 6+ years.
In recognition of her professional achievements, Alba & Dubose subsequently invited Karen to join their legal team. After Karen joined the firm, Mark transitioned into a role as ‘of counsel’ attorney, and Karen was offered the opportunity to become partner. In 2014, the firm became the Law Office of Alba & Yochim P.A.
Karen’s career focuses primarily on the area of Family Law, however, she also represents clients in estate planning and administration, guardianship and incapacity proceedings, as well as probate litigation matters.
