Michael Ray Goodson

I earned my Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and I now focus my practice on divorce and family law at The Virga Law Firm, P.A.  After graduating from law school, I served as an Assistant State Attorney in Panama City.  In this capacity, I was able to work with victims of crime and their families.

I am a compassionate advocate who believes in taking the time to listen to and understand my clients, their backgrounds, and what makes them seek legal help. Since most legal issues are multi-faceted and can be resolved in numerous ways, my goal is to help my clients find a solution that meets their needs in a cost-efficient and time-efficient manner. Outside of practicing law, I am active in my community.  I have served on the board of directors for the Downtown Panama City Kiwanis Club, and frequently help my wife, Erin, with fundraising and charitable endeavors for the Junior League of Panama City. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, fishing, golfing, going to the beach, and spending time with my wife.
