Attorney Sorrentino received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University where he studied criminal and forensic psychology as well as jazz performance guitar. After college Brad began working as a corporate paralegal and has had a passion for law ever since. Brad also spent years in the technology sector gaining valuable experience as a support specialist at a large investment company in Boston and then as a computer forensics consultant in San Francisco. Brad's unique background in technology sets him apart from other outdated legal practices, which translates to better service, more efficient representation, and cost savings to you.
During law school Attorney Sorrentino was fascinated with the areas of criminal law and international law. Brad was selected for the criminal law fellowship and earned a certificate in global legal studies. In 2013, Brad was also selected for a fellowship at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands where he assisted in the defense of former President, Radovan Karadžić, who was prosecuted for war crimes.
Attorney Sorrentino continued to foster and develop his interest in criminal law and trial advocacy as a certified legal intern at the San Diego Public Defenders Office. This opportunity provided practical legal experience in criminal defense and allowed Brad to further develop his trial advocacy skills by actively participating in felony jury trials, all of which were brought to verdict with excellent results.
Following law school, Brad was selected for a clerkship at Connecticut Superior Court, clerking for his Honorable Matthew E. Frechette and his Honorable Thomas V. O'Keefe in both civil and criminal divisions of the New Haven Judicial District. Attorney Sorrentino gained further experience at the Law Offices of Charles L. Kurmay in the areas of criminal law, personal injury, and probate litigation, and still remains as Of Counsel to the firm. Brad also currently serves as a Consultant to Allied Aerospace International and Allied Defense International in South Florida.
Attorney Sorrentino started his own practice in 2016 in order to realize his vision of providing unmatched client service, creative litigation tactics, and excellent legal representation at an affordable price.
Attorney Sorrentino devotes 100% of his practice to litigation serving clients in both in the criminal and civil arenas. About half of Brad's practice is devoted to criminal defense and DUI defense in San Diego County and Orange County, including help with pre-filing investigations (if you are suspected of a crime, but not yet arrested), misdemeanor and felony defense at all stages up from plea negotiations through trial, as well as post-conviction relief, including erasure of criminal records (expungement), pardon applications, or even defending your reputation by redirecting your presence online.
Brad also focuses on accident and injury law helping people get the compensation they deserve. If you've been injured, following a car/motor vehicle accident, workplace injury (involving employer or employee negligence or fault), or wrongful or accidental death, in San Diego County, Orange County, and Los Angeles County, we will work tirelessly for you to help make you whole again.
Brad's ability to think critically, creative problem solving skills, and his humanistic approach to serving his clients and to his profession sets him apart from many other lawyers. Above all, his empathy drives his passion to help others and to solve your problem to achieve the best result possible as if it were his own.
