Kevin Hackman is a lifelong Rhode Island resident and is a licensed member of both the Rhode Island and Mississippi Bar Associations. Additionally, Kevin is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Special Needs Planners, as well as a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Committee and Title Standards Committee. He is a Volunteer Lawyer with the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyer Program. Kevin also serves on the Panel of Elder Law attorneys for the Bar Association’s Pro Bono Program for the Elderly and is active in the community as a member professional of Elder Resources Rhode Island and the Senior Agenda Coalition of Rhode Island. He is a former Board Member of VNA Care New England.
Engaged in the practice of law since 1976, the majority of Kevin’s practice involves Elder Law matters, including Medicaid and estate planning, probate administration, guardianships, special needs trusts, fiduciary services, real estate and title conveyance law. In addition, Kevin is accredited by the Veteran’s Administration (VA) to counsel clients regarding service and non-service connected compensation, DIC and pension benefits.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys golf, traveling with his wife, and visiting their daughter, a geriatric and family medicine physician in Boston.
