Michael Zmijewski

Michael E. Zmijewski graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University's Fox School of Business and Management with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.  Following his undergraduate studies, Michael attended Oklahoma City University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor Degree with high honors.

Following graduation, Michael moved to Central Florida and sat for the Florida Bar in July 2002 and was sworn in as Member of the Florida Bar and as an Assistant State Attorney in September 2002.  Michael began his professional career in the capacity of an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.  For the first year of his practice, Michael worked as a criminal traffic and DUI Prosecutor.  The following year he was promoted to the felony division where he gained expereince prosecuting drug possession and drug trafficking, aggravated battery and aggravated assault and many other violent felony offenses.  Over the course of his two-years as a Prosecutor, Michael gained extensive trial experience.

After leaving the State Attorney's Office in 2004, Michael began practicing as a Criminal Defense and DUI Lawyer.  In 2004, Michael was sworn in as a Member of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.  Since entering private practice as a Criminal Defense Attorney, he has handled many cases in such areas as:
