George has over three decades of obtaining outstanding results for many hundreds of clients in courtrooms throughout the nation in both civil and criminal matters. He has prevailed in newsworthy criminal cases involving clients charged with serious crimes in the State and Federal courts of New York and Connecticut. 

George has been a successful advocate on behalf of plaintiffs, having won verdicts or achieved multi-million dollar settlements in scores of highly contested law suits. 

A talented trial lawyer who has for many years successfully represented clients in family law and divorce cases before judges of the Supreme Court of New York and Family Courts of Connecticut. George's family court experience includes matters involving child custody, child visitation, child support, divorce, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, spousal support, (maintenance & alimony), modifications and post judgment divorce matters. 

George has achieved remarkable results in representing his clients in a wide variety of complex business lawsuits involving commercial and real estate disputes.

These courtroom accomplishments have been recognized throughout the United States by George's citation in Best Lawyers and the achievement of "Super Lawyer" status in the New York Times Magazine for the years 2009 through 2015. The National Board of Trial Advocacy awarded him the distinction of Board Certified Civil and Criminal Trial Attorney. The New Jersey Supreme Court has conferred the title of Certified Civil Trial Lawyer upon him. 

Catlett's public service includes appointment as a Deputy Attorney General and as a prosecutor in the District Attorney's Office. He was a law secretary to a prominent appellate court judge. Following service as a prosecutor, he became a partner at one of the largest firms in the nation. Over the years, George has lectured nationally before professional and legal associations in symposia on trial advocacy. George has written on trial practice and techniques.
