Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Castiglione became associated with the Law Offices of Euclid F. Maggiani in Manhasset, New York, which concentrated its practice in the areas of general corporate law, real estate law, representation of individuals and lending institutions in commercial and residential real estate transactions, foreclosures, and trusts and estate planning.
While at the Law Offices of Euclid F. Maggiani, Mr. Castiglione supervised all real estate transactions, business sales, and corporate matters. He is the chief supervisor of all residential and commercial bank transactions and is responsible for all closings and is the liason between each lender and mortgage broker. He served as a member of Ticor Title Guarantee's Advisory Board that helped establish policy for the title insurance industry. He has handled thousands of real estate matters, leases and business transactions both on the residential and commercial side including numerous condominium, co-operative and 1031 exchanges.
Mr. Castiglione has drafted hundreds of wills and trusts along with probating numerous estate matters in Surrogates Courts located within New York City’s 5 boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk and several upstate counties. He interned under former Nassau County Surrogate Raymond Radigan and has handled all facets of estate administration along with many areas of estate planning. He is a court appointed guardian and has acted as court evaluator on multiple occasions. Mr. Castiglione also represents several large corporations and is general counsel to one of the largest insurance companies on Long Island. He also works closely with financial planners in the preparation of trusts and asset management and protection.
Mr. Castiglione is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Columbian Lawyers Association and American Bar Association.
He is also very active in the north shore community where he coaches youth baseball, soccer and is on the Board of the Glen Head/Glenwood Landing little league. He and his wife Lisa are also very active in raising money through the Viking Foundation and the North Shore Booster Club. He also supports philanthropic organizations such as juvenile diabetes research and the American War Veterans.
Mr. Castiglione resides in Roslyn Harbor with his wife and two children.
