Gary Bement

Gary graduated from Cahokia High School in 1974. He received his Law degree from St. Louis University in 1981 and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration in 1982. In 1981 he started work as an Assistant State’s Attorney for St. Clair County. During his time there he tried over 200 criminal and delinquency cases. In 1984 he went into private practice where he concentrated in Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury law. He has represented injured workers in hundreds of hearings since. He still concentrates in personal injury, worker’s compensation, and Social Security Disability cases. His practice involves a substantial portion of Southern Illinois. In 2013, Gary became a Court approved mediator for family law cases in the Second, Third, Fourth, and Twentieth Judicial Circuits in Southern Illinois. In addition to family mediations he also handles civil mediations.
