Jeff Kaufman has been practicing personal injury law in Atlanta since 1977. Born and raised in Georgia, he attended elementary and high school in Atlanta before attending Washington University in St. Louis where he received his B.A. in Political Science in 1973. Jeff moved back to Georgia and attended law school at Mercer University, graduating in 1977.
Since 1977, Jeff has fought tirelessly for individuals seriously injured by the negligence of other individuals and corporations. He has tried countless cases throughout the state, and has obtained millions of dollars for his clients through verdicts and settlements. His $25 million medical malpractice verdict is one of the highest verdicts in Georgia's history.
Jeff is admitted to practice in all Georgia State Courts along with the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. Along with being an active member of the State Bar in good standing, he is also a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, Southern Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and Atlanta Bar Association. He contributes time and money to numerous charitable organizations along with those that fight for laws to protect injured individuals against giant corporations and insurance companies.
