James Kittle

I am an expert in providing IT consulting services to lawyers. I started my career at NYU School of Law where I designed and managed the very first data communication network for the law school. I also designed the first "smart classrooms" for distance learning and the entire residential data network for the law school. For 10 years I was the National IT Manager for Vinson & Elkins New York office where I built the firm's New York City office located at 5th Avenue. For 5 years I built the firm's Project Managment Office by authoring and implement project management policies and procedures for the gloabl practice. I recruited and coached the PMO staff and I helped the firm's "C-level" executive to improve the core operating processes of their respective devisions. I am a thought leader in the field of legal IT and project managment. I have been published in ILTA Magazine and served as a panel member on IT and project managment.

I my current position at Firm Technology Partners I am building a consulting and service practice which focuses on providing IT servicces to solo practicioners and small to mid-size law firms. Technology services and software can be leveraged to allow solo practice lawyers and boutique firms to compete and win against larger firms.
