Michael D. Dicembre has been a member of the local Central Florida community for nearly thirty years, having moved here with his family from the State of New York when his father retired from the New York City Police Department.
Mr. Dicembre attended school locally at Lake Howell High School and received his college education at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Mr. Dicembre attended Rollins College upon being named an 'Alonso Rollins Scholar' and receiving a full academic scholarship. Mr. Dicembre graduated from Rollins in 1990 with a major in Economics. Mr. Dicembre continued his academic journey at the University of Florida's Frederic G. Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Dicembre earned his Juris Doctor Degree in 1993.
After passing the bar exam, Mr. Dicembre was sworn in as a member of the Florida Bar in June of 1994. He initially practiced in Gainesville, Florida with the firm 'Huntley Johnson and Associates' for whom he had been functioning as a law clerk during his last year in law school. While at said firm, Mr. Dicembre practiced in the areas of both criminal defense and personal injury plaintiff's work.
In the spring of 1996, Mr. Dicembre relocated back to the Central Florida community and started his own law practice, Michael D. Dicembre, P.A. His practice has expanded over the years and in the spring of 2007 the firm was renamed 'Dicembre & Nace' to reflect the joining of 2 new attorneys as partners, Anton Nace and Marc Consalo.
During the entirety of his career, Mr. Dicembre has practiced in the field of criminal defense and, has practiced exclusively in that field since 1996. Mr. Dicembre has handled thousands of criminal cases during that time and has conducted trials at the State, Statewide and Federal levels. Along with membership in the Florida Bar, Mr. Dicembre is a member of the Federal Bar and is formally admitted to practice in the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. He has represented clients in nearly every type of criminal case imaginable throughout the course of his legal career, including drug trafficking, fraud, DUI and domestic violence cases.
