About Curtis W. Harrison II
I firmly believe that, equipped with the right team of collaborative professionals to guide you, you and your spouse will be able to achieve an agreement that is more creative, more beneficial, and more satisfying than anything a perfect stranger in a black robe could devise.”
As a partner working in the Plano office of Goranson Bain, Curtis serves a range of professional clients who live in Collin County, along with Dallas and Denton counties. With 20 years of litigation experience, Curtis is very comfortable in the courtroom. Yet he also recognizes that most people would rather avoid the courthouse and try to resolve their divorce and child custody conflicts themselves with help. Curtis therefore emphasizes principles of interest-based negotiation and alternative dispute resolution in his practice to help clients achieve those goals whenever possible.
Curtis is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law, and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has been selected to "Texas Super Lawyers" by Thomson Reuters each year since 2008. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Collin County Bar Association and the Dallas Bar Association. In addition, Curtis serves on the Board of Directors for the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
Specialties: Board Certified - Family Law - Texas Board of Legal Specialization; Trial Advocacy; Experienced Collaborative Law Practitioner; Family Law Mediator
