As a trusted advisor, Amanda is a key player on her client’s team. She provides valuable and thoughtful legal advice so her clients can make the best decisions for themselves, their families and their businesses. That being said, Amanda is a fierce advocate and when disputes cannot be resolved without litigation, she has the expertise and skills to see the case through trial. In addition to trial work, she works to mediate and achieve favorable settlements for her clients whenever possible.
Amanda is a native San Diegan and enjoys being involved in the community. The Lawyers Club of San Diego awarded Amanda with the 2013 C. Hugh Friedman New Attorney Award recognizing her as a champion in advancing the Lawyers Club’s mission and an attorney who has demonstrated leadership and professionalism within the San Diego legal community. In 2011, she was named as a Daily Transcript as A Top Young Attorney Finalist.
Service to the industries and communities she serves are key, not only to Amanda’s practice, but her commitment to civic involvement. Amanda served on the Building Industry Association of San Diego YGen Board of Directors from 2012-2014. In June of 2014, she will begin her three year term on the Lawyers Club of San Diego Board of Directors. Among other activities, her community work includes volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and serving women and girls through the Lawyers Club of San Diego.
John Wooden famously said, “Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.” Amanda practices law and lives each day with this intention. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. at the UCLA School of Law. She played on the National Championship softball team at UCLA and is devoted to being a life-long Bruin. She enjoys spending time with her family, crossfitting and doing anything outdoors.
