Benedikt Pauka

Benedikt Pauka, born 1971, studied legal science at the University of Frankfurt/Main (Germany) and Bonn (Germany). During his academic studies, he worked as a student assistant/paralegal at the Institute for Criminal Sciences and Philosophy of Law at the University of Frankfurt/M. (Prof. Dr. Wolf Paul, Department for legal theory, legal methodology and comparative law) and at the Institute of Criminal Law at the University Bonn (Prof. Dr. Hans-Ullrich Paeffgen, Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminal Law History). Subsequent to his studies, he worked as a scientific assistance at the Institute for Criminal Law and for the Academic Exchange Service at the University in Bonn.

After his admittance to the Bar Association in 2002, he first worked as an Associate in the Criminal Department of a business offenses focused law firm. Since 2007 he has worked as an independent lawyer at a Criminal Law shared office in Cologne. From 2006 to 2007, he was a member of the board of the Criminal Defense Lawyer Association Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland e.V. In 2011 Benedikt Pauka founded the joint-practice Pauka ∙ von Dreden ∙ Link with Holger Link and Julia von Dreden.

Benedikt Pauka is a member of the Cologne Lawyer Association, the German Lawyer Association (DAV), the Criminal Law section of the DAV, the Corporate Criminal Law Association (WiSteV), and the German-American Lawyer Association (DAJV), and its section Antitrust, Regulated Industries, Media (ARIM).
