During his time with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Mr. Jaleel handled cases ranging from DUI to first-degree murder and was the lead appellate prosecutor on issues such as reasonable doubt, insanity, prosecutorial misconduct, ineffective assistance of counsel, evidentiary issues, retroactive application of new laws, and the constitutionality of statutes.
