We are a small commercial litigation lawfirm based in St. Louis, MO. Our practice consists of two major areas. First, we regularly represent broker-dealers attempting to enforce the post-employment obligations of their former employees. Specifically, we enforce covenants not to compete or solicit and the violation of state trade secret laws nationwide. We use a network of attorneys throughout the country to assist us to obtain TROs or preliminary injunctions. We have successfully obtained TROs in over 40 states. We also regulary represent broker-dealers in arbitrations before FINRA (formerly the NASD and NYSE) regarding post-employment obligations, defamation, and wrongful termination actions. Second, we also represent employers accused of violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, The Equal Pay Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the various state human rights acts. We represent companies in the administrative portion of these actions by investigating the allegations and responding to the EEOC or the State Human Rights Commission. We also regulary litigate said cliams, if necessary. We also are able to provide counseling adn advice to employers regarding discrimiation issues. Finally, we also represent plaintiffs and defendants in various types of commercial litigation.
