Mr. Harbison has practiced in Virginia since 1998, focusing on all types of worker’s compensation cases, from minor injuries to complex cases involving catastrophic injuries and death. He brings a blend of compassion, personal attention, and legal prowess to each of his clients’ cases.
Named in “Virginia Rising Stars” five years in a row and “Super Lawyers” in 2012 and 2013, he also serves as the Legislative Chair for the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, where he advocates at the General Assembly on behalf of injured workers. A speaker and consultant for workers’ compensation law, he also contributes to the Annual Workers’ Compensation Advanced Practice Retreat education program for other lawyers who represent injured workers.
Gregory Harbison graduated from the University of Virginia in 1993 with a degree in Economics. He graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1997 with honors where he served as Internal Managing Editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law.
An active community member, Mr. Harbison belongs to the Shady Grove United Methodist Church and supports the United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg. He lives just outside of Richmond with his wife Brenda and two children.
