Nathan Pieri is the proud son of parents that both served in the United States Air Force. His family settled in the Columbus area in the mid 1990’s. Nathan attended Ohio University on an academic scholarship, and it was there that he first discovered his passion for criminal defense. Ohio University also instilled in him a solid understanding of the Ohio economy, which led him to a job in the banking and credit industry just after graduation. He soon realized that he wanted to help the citizens of Ohio, especially those living in Franklin County, and the best way he could do that was to become an attorney. This realization prompted him to enroll at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.
During law school, Mr. Pieri worked as a law clerk for the Ohio Attorney General where he gained knowledge and experience in a variety of practice areas, but he was always drawn to criminal defense. Upon graduation he joined the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office in Columbus. As an attorney with the Public Defender, Mr. Pieri handled thousands of criminal and traffic cases, including hundreds of DUI cases. He has achieved hundreds of dismissals of all criminal charges for his clients. Despite his successes in the courtroom, Nathan believes that no traffic ticket, or case of any kind, is to small for the attention of a good attorney.
In addition to criminal and OVI or DUI cases, Mr. Pieri represents clients dealing with traffic tickets, tenant's rights, and bankruptcy.
