His education and experience in mediation allows him to help his clients resolve their issues with a minimum of time, stress and expense. Michael A. Lormand was born at Ft. Meade, Maryland, and raised in a military family. He earned his B.F.A. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1973 and served thereafter with the 193rd Infantry Brigade in the Canal Zone, Panama until 1977. Michael received his M.S. degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia in 1995, and his J.D. from The T.C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond in 1997.
