I represent artists, songwriters, publishers, labels, and other music professionals with all aspects of the music business. I also prepare,file,and prosecute trademark applications.
Christopher Hugan has been practicing law in Tennessee since 2003 and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Nashville Bar Association. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1985 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Before attending law school, Mr. Hugan was a professional guitarist and recording engineer in Los Angeles and Nashville. He won the 1986 Tommy Tedesco Studio Scholarship to Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, California. He is a member the Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for The Arts, serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Nashville Jazz Workshop, and is a volunteer in the Conversemos program at Conexión Americas in Nashville.
