I have been a speaker at continuing education seminars for other lawyers on personal injury, medical malpractice and constitutional law. I  have also  given numerous presentations to local high schools, colleges, churches and civic groups on constitutional law.

I am rated AV, the highest rating, by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the oldest peer review rating service in the country. I have also been selected for Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys in North Carolina in the fields of personal injury and medical malpractice.

I was also selected by the North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine in 2012 in the field of personal injury practice, an honor bestowed on less than five percent of the state’s lawyers.
