Insurance Law My insurance litigation practice handles cases involving homeowners and their insurance company. After disaster strikes, such as a Hurricane, many insurance companies inaccurately value the damages sustained to a homeowner's property. Ultimately paying the homeowner much less than the actual cost of repairing the damages to the property. My office will fight for your rights and proper payment of your insurance loss. Other areas of Insurance law include: Coverage Disputes, Denied Claims, Automobile, and Bad Faith Claims. Employment Law My law office works with Wage and Hour Law to seek payment of overtime and minimum wages to employees who were inaccurately paid by their employers. Whether done inadvertently or purposely, employers sometimes pay their employees at 'straight' time instead of 'time and a half' as required by the Fair Labor Standards Act. Further, some employers refuse to pay their employees their last pay check. This is not acceptable and my office will assist you in obtaining your wages. Commercial Litigation Commercial Litigation encompasses various contract disputes, such as breach of contract, in commercial and business matters. My office defends and represents businesses who are now facing a legal dispute. Estate Planning Proper Estate Planning is crucial to any family. My office is often hired to prepare Wills, Durable Power of Attorneys, and Living Wills.
