Nick Clifford

 As an immigration and criminal defense lawyer in the North Carolina Triangle area, Nick Clifford guides his clients through their stressful legal issues. He knows how important each case is and he gives his full attention to each client and set of legal matter that he is responsible for. Nick takes on challenging cases involving DUI, drug offenses, violent crimes, and other charges. His clients are facing the possibility of jail time, fines, and permanent marks on their records, so he aggressively fights for their futures during the legal process.

Nick's career includes a license to practice in both Florida and North Carolina. He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, and his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University. He served in Florida's public defender's office, gaining valuable first-hand experience before moving back to Raleigh, North Carolina. There, he co-founded the Clifford Law Group with his wife, Veronica Bayo Clifford. There, he currently serves clients in issues regarding both criminal charges and immigration needs.

Nick stays up-to-date on current legal issues as an active member in several organizations, including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Legal Committee of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). When not in the office, Nick volunteers with a local organization called WakeUP Wake County, which supports community growth.
