Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Adam left for St. Louis for college to Loyola University in Chicago where he graduated with a degree in Political Science and minor in History and International Studies. While in college, Adam jumped at the opportunity to study in Rome and was able to travel all around Italy, and also to Spain, France and Germany.

Ready to return to his hometwon, Adam enrolled at and graduated from St. Louis University School of Law. While in law schoool, Adam received a certificate for mastering legal research and writing. In addition to interning as a legal researcher for a Missouri state senator, Adam interned for the Catholic Immigration Law Project where he assisted immigrants with filing naturalization papers as well as paper requesting asylum in the United States.

Adam has limited his practice to family and practices in the area of divorce, child custody, child support, paternity and other family law matters at Stange Law Firm.
