About Martha Feigenbaum
Our practice emphasizes civil actions and litigation, contracts, divorce, real estate, and wills. We have over 30 years of experience helping people during some of the most difficult times in their lives. My clients know that we advocate for them vigorously and they can depend on our integrity. Our firm is committed to providing the highest legal standards of legal representation and we are dedicated to obtaining the best results for our clients, even in difficult situations. We normally return all telephone calls and e-mails the same day, because we know your time is valuable. What's important to you is important to us.
Contracts. Whether you have a business or personally contract issue, we meet the challenge by being creative with our solutions. We respond to critical situations promptly and attempt to defuse the situation before litigation is necessary.
Divorce. Divorce is probably the most traumatic life experience. We work to vigorously to represent your interest. We are dedicated to protecting your rights in divorce, child custody, child support, modifications and in most other family law matters. We give honest advice as well as communicate to the client his strong or weak points.
Real Estate. Our firm represents clients in real estate transactions and litigation. We provide expert counsel in matters related to the sale or purchase of real property, leases, contracts, deeds and various other real estate documents. We facilitate completion of transactions.
Wills. We assist you in preparation of basic wills. We have a will package that contains a basic Will, Medical Power of Attorney, Durable Power of Attorney and Physician Directive (Living Will). We recommend that you take care of your future before you become disabled, incompetent, or critically ill. Preparing a Will is important so that the beneficiaries that you want to receive your assets do so. If you do not have a will, your estate will be distributed to your heirs at law, which may not be the people that you want to inherit your estate. Moreover, in a Will you get to choose your Executor, who will settle your estate and not require your Executor to post a bond.
Preparing Medical Powers of Attorney and Durable Powers of Attorney allow you to make critical decisions for your medical health and financial needs prior to your becoming disabled or unable to make decisions on your own. You have the opportunity to write a Living Will directing the doctors of your choices in the event you are unable to survive without medical care.
