Michael von Loewenfeldt is a partner of Kerr & Wagstaffe and practices both trial and appellate litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. His practice primarily involves consumer rights, employment litigation, and class actions. He has experience with wrongful death, civil rights, municipal liability, defamation, undue influence will contests, insurance coverage, unfair competition, and unfair trade practices litigation. Michael represents a wide spectrum of clients, including individuals and businesses of all sizes. Education and Experience In 1991, Michael graduated Phi Beta Kappa from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Political Science. In 1995, he received his J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall, and was made a member of the Order of the Coif. After law school, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Saundra Brown Armstrong, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of California. Upon completion of his clerkship with Judge Armstrong, he became an associate at the San Francisco office of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. Michael joined Kerr & Wagstaffe LLP in November 1999, shortly after the firm opened. He became partner in February 2001. Michael teaches Community Property as an adjunct assistant professor of law at University of California, Hastings School of the Law.
