Imaging Presentation Partners: A Trial Consulting and Multimedia Company
Nicholas T. Hariton has been the Managing Director & Counsel of Imaging Presentation Partners since 1994. With more than a decade of experience as a Trial Consultant, he is a well-respected leader in the field.
Mr. Hariton revolutionized the practice of Trial Consulting by placing Trial Consultants in the role of trial technicians operating multimedia presentation systems in court. The apparent social status differential enables the jury consultant to effectively observe and analyze juror reaction to testimony and evidence presentation.
Coming from O’Melveny & Myers, LLP, where he served as a bank-side LBO lawyer in the Bank and Financial Institutions Group, Mr. Hariton formed Imaging Presentation Partners in 1994.
Mr. Hariton began his Trial Consulting career with the first successful litigation againstMicrosoft Corporation (Stac Electronics v. Microsoft Corporation) and has assistedExxon Mobil in its successful Municipality Diverted Services trial in Anchorage, Alaska. He has crafted “juror friendly” trial presentations for hundreds of Trial Teams throughout the country. Mr. Hariton’s most recent innovation is TrialTouch, a dynamic new technology that transforms the Expert Witness into professor and raconteur.
Mr. Hariton has spoken, been a panelist and demonstrated the use of multimedia technology at numerous meetings of attorneys, including: The Technology Committee of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of California; The Trial Advocacy Institute; The ABA Annual Meeting, Litigation Section; The Woman Advocate; The 64th Annual Meeting of the California Judges Association; The Association of the Bar of the City of New York; The Association of Business Trial Lawyers; The Practicing Law Institute “Use of Demonstrative Exhibits in Patent Litigation;” The Practicing Law Institute “Demonstration and Critique of a Closing Argument Including Tips on Persuasion from a Jury Consultant;” October 2004, Tyler & Wilson, LLP, Nursing Home Administrator Program, “Defensive Litigation Strategies for Long Term Care Providers,” March 2007; and most recently, the 4th Annual Eminent Domain National Conference: A Retrospective on Kelo, April 2007.
