Jeff's practice covers general labor and employment issues with a specific focus on traditional labor law in the airline industry. His practice includes assisting clients with the interpretation and application of the Railway Labor Act and various state and federal statutes (e.g., FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA), as well as advising clients on DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements. Mr. Rickman also assists clients with grievance resolution matters and prepares cases for arbitration and litigation under the Railway Labor Act. Jeff is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before all Georgia courts. During law school, Jeff served as Editor-in-Chief of the Georgia State University Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board. He has also published “Non-Compete Clauses in Georgia: An Economic Analysis,” 21 GA. ST. L. REV. 1107 (2005) and “A Year of Difficult Decisions: Bankruptcy, Labor Law and General Aviation” in the Spring 2007 issue of The Georgia Aviation Flyer.
