UN Should Not Fail in Libya - Like it Failed in Sri Lanka Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) urged the UN not to fail in protecting Libyan civilians like it failed to protect Sri Lankan Tamil civilians in 2009. During the massacre of Tamil civilians in Sri Lanka, UN Security Council and UN Human Rights Council also held meetings. But those meetings did not prevent the killing of around 60,000 Tamil civilians. Repeated appeals by several world leaders' to stop the killings were rejected by the Sri Lankan Government. Failure to bring Sri Lankan leaders to face War Crimes charge
