Judgment Entered Against Plaintiff's Counsel based on Anti-SLAPP Statute Was Void.
In this recent decision (Moore v. Kaufman), the California appellate court held: Section 425.16 (Anti-SLAPP) allows entry of judment for attorney's fees against the plaintiff but not against plaintiff's counsel. Therefore, trial court judgment entered against Plaintiff's attorney was void, and the attorney did not have to answer judgment debtor examination questions.
