Window World Confirms EPA Certification under New Lead Paint Renovation Law Beginning April 22, 2010, a new regulation from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires contractors that disturb lead-based paint in homes, businesses and schools constructed before 1978 to be certified and follow stringent procedures to prevent lead contamination. Window World, Inc., the nation's largest replacement window company, has received EPA certification for lead-based Repair, Renovation and Painting (RRP) at all of its more than 200 locations. N
