Tremain, Inc., creators of the Original Butter Bell® crock announced that it has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Case No. SACV 10-00322 AG (RNBx) against Paula Deen, Paula Deen Enterprises, LLC, and Meyer Trading Company, Ltd., over trademark infringement involving the Butter Bell® trademark and Deen's appearance on QVC in which she promoted her own product as the Butter Bell® crock.
