Judicial Commission finds Judge Misconduct and Abuse of Authority
This is a copy of the decision issued by the California Commission of Judicial Performance. The commission reviewed former trial judge Brett C. Klein's conduct in making sarcastic remarks towards the class action plaintiff's attorney, and in awarding attorney's fees to the male attorney in women's clothing gift cards, rather than $125,000 in cash payment which had been previously approved at a preliminary hearing.
