Wood v. Allen, Commissioner, Alabama Department of Corrections. US Supreme Court Case No. 08-9156. In an opinion by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the Supreme Court has upheld a death sentence for an Alabama inmate who claimed his counsel was ineffective for failing to introduce evidence of his low IQ.
