EPA Fines Naval Station For Improper Asbestos Handling
In February of 2009 a demolition at a Newport, RI Naval Base violated the Clean Air Act and the National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Asbestos (Asbestos NESHAP). The parties responsible are being fined by the EPA.
