Google, Youtube Sued for $20 Million; Trademark Infringement, Unfair Business Practices Alleged
A complaint was filed in the United States District Court against Google Inc and Youtube LLC for allegedly infringing upon the copyrights of filmmaker Darron Morris and his trademarks 'Mogul' and 'Mogul Films'. The suit asserts that the defendants continued to use/promote their mark 'Indy Mogul' after being denied trademark registration by the United States Patent and Trademark Office due to the likely confusion its mark would make with the plaintiff's and in the entertainment marketplace. Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 01, 2014 Darron Morris, CEO of Mogul Films
