Foriegn Litigations are Not Protected activities under Anti-SLAPP
Where P and D had entered an agreement not to sue, but D sued P in the French courts, P filed an action in the California Superior Court to stop the French litigation, and D filed a motion to strike under Anti-SLAPP statute, the court held 'the filing of a lawsuit in a foreign country [is not] protected activity under the United States or California Constitutions' and therefore the Anti-SLAPP statute is not implicated.
