Howell v. Hamilton Meats & Provisions, Inc.
California Court of Appeal rules that a tortfeasor must pay the full amount of the plaintiff's medical bills even if the medical provider accepted a lesser amount from plaintiff's insurance company as payment in full. This ruling was based on the collateral source rule. Rebecca Howell v. Hamilton Meats & Provisions, Court of Appeal, 4th Dist. Div 1 (B053620).
