Villalobos Rescue Center and Supporters of the Intact Animal Law Team up to Reduce Pet Overpopulatio

On June 12, 2014, Villalobos Rescue Center of "Pit Bulls and Parolees" fame and other animal advocates will host a New Orleans' first, MASH-style spay-neuter clinic where nearly two dozen dogs will be spayed by local veterinarians - at no cost to the owners. The event, humorously named "Balls Out," is designed not only to help under-served citizens spay or neuter their dogs, but also to raise awareness about the importance of neutering and spaying intact animals, who are responsible for some 75% of animal bites and make up 90% of animal shelter populations.
