NYS Athletic Trainers Gain Support from NYS Legislators during National Athletic Training Month

The New York State Athletic Trainers’ Association (NYSATA) has been hard at work trying to develop and expand legislative awareness and gain legislative recognition as part of its National Athletic Training Month efforts. In addition to securing a NYS resolution for March 2014 as Athletic Training Month, local proclamations have also been established this year on Long Island and a Legislative Letter Writing Campaign has added more than five co-sponsors to the AT bills (A6678 and S4465) currently introduced to update the state practice act.
