The Nursing Home Complaint Center in now urging all families of a nursing home patient in the US to have a standing order with the nursing home, that the family is to be notified immediately if the nursing home patient loved one develops bed sore, because if left untreated bed sores can evolve into a life threatening infection called sepsis.
