California Court of Appeals Orders Wells Fargo to Pay Over $500,000 for False Credit Reporting and Violation of The Fair Credit Reporting Act On September 2,2009, the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District in Riverside issued its final decision on the appeal of a verdict from the Superior Court in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino County, California which had ordered Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to pay over $1 million dollars in damages, fees and costs to Reed and Mary Ann Fisher of Oceanside.
