A Small Town in One of the Fastest Growing Regions in North America Lifts Its Population Cap in 2012

Central Alberta is one of the fastest growing regions in North America. High income, low unemployment, low taxes, affordable homes, an industrial boom, and quaint yet burgeoning small towns have households from all over the continent looking to become a part of the surrounding communities. One town in particular, Okotoks located near the city of Calgary, lifted a long time population cap to accommodate the skyrocketing demand.
