The US Drug Watchdog says, "We could have thousands, or even tens of thousands of women in the United States, who are in unspeakable pain, or they have been damaged beyond comprehension, because they got sold a bill of goods. According to court records the surgical procedure to get a transvaginal mesh product was supposed to be minimally invasive. Now these women might have to have numerous corrective surgeries.
